One Last Hurrah!

The weekend before Seth and Mia were born, Clint and I thought it would be nice to get our friends together for one last dinner without car seats and crying babies. We met at the Olive Garden and had an awesome time! I love our friends and am so grateful to have them in our life!

In this picture (Clint, Emily, Jon, Briana, Greg, Danny, Taryn, Melissa, Raquel, and Dre.)

Sorry boys, for the blurry shot!

Melissa is sandwiched between two prego girls! Ha ha!

Wall Art just for Seth!

The wife of one of my clients loves art. So their offices are decorated like a museum. There are paintings all over the walls of the hallway! Some of the paintings are hers and others are works by local artists. Awhile back I was visiting the group and a painting caught my eye. It was a watercolor of elephants. I just loved it and would always make a point to look at it each time I visited.

When I found out I was pregnant and I started decorating the room for our baby I thought of this painting. So I emailed the owner's wife and asked her if it was for sale. This particular painting wasn't for sale but she was so happy to hear that I liked it that she offered to paint another one for my baby.

Yesterday I was able to go pick it up and I got it put on Seth's wall this morning. I love it so much! Seth might not care about it but I am always going to remind him that this painting was done just for him.

More Random Seth....woo!

I know what you were all waiting for.....more Seth! WARNING! ADORABLE NUDITY!

Yo! Kiss my cheeks!

Check out the mohawk! That was Emily's idea, but I think it suits him.

The look of a future Ute....kind of absent but content.

Emily wants you to think that she bought this to celebrate the 4th of July but the truth is she just wanted to be able to remember what year he was born.

Look at those little monkey feet, he can already grab stuff as well with them as with his hands. Nana C couldn't be more proud.

Seth is contemplating his next move.....sleep, eat or poop? Poop and Eat? Eat and then sleep? Poop, Sleep and Cry? Cry then Eat? He settled on Cry, Cry and then Cry.

He is saying "Hug me!". So I did.

This looks so adorable until you realize a pee stain magically appeared after we were done taking his picture. I guess that explains his content look.

More sleeping Seth, haven't seen enough of those yet have you?

Gotta love this shot. We honestly took 100 pictures to get this one. We better delete our failed attempts before someone stumbles across them and gets the wrong idea. He does have a cute butt though, it just seems to smile at you.

Boy Meets Girl

Today we went to the baby blessing of Mia Michelle Draper. It took place in the Saratoga Springs Spanish 6th ward and I was lucky enough to be in the blessing circle. The only downside to this was I was unable to wear my cool little "translation headphones" so I had no clue what Dre was saying.....I assume it was all good stuff.

Afterwards, we honored the tradition of eating free food at the blessed child's parents place. In between bites of mini sandwiches and brownies, we were able to introduce Seth to Mia. We are hoping that Seth will pass along wisdom to Mia, since he is a whole 2 days older. Here are the shots of their introduction.
