Our Babies' First Swim!

Clint and I went to Daybreak on Sunday and decided to test the doggies out in the water for the first time. It was actually pretty cute to see them "doggie paddle" by instinct.

Here goes Tess...

Here goes Molly...

I wish I had caught it on video but Clint "gently" tossed Tess in the water and, I'm not kidding, she froze underwater for about 5 seconds! She looked dead! So Clint jumped in after her thinking he had killed her and just as he jumped in to save her, she paddled to the surface. When we realized she was ok we had a good laugh.

Another Year Under my Belt!

So I turned 28 yesterday. One more year...flew by way too fast! When did it happen that I started dreading my birthday rather than looking forward to it??? Clint was as sweet as can be though!

As soon as the clock hit 12:00 AM, he gave me a birthday card with tickets to a Hale Theater play. In the morning he took me to breakfast. Then some fabulous long stem roses arrived. Then we went to dinner with my family and had cake and ice cream at their house.

Clint let me buy some new shoes and a purse on Tuesday and he gave me the linens below on Sunday. (He always gives me my presents early because he gets too excited to wait!)

I love these linens! The sheets are so soft!

Crazy Weather this Year!

We have had some pretty stormy days these past few weeks. I snapped this picture on my phone a couple days ago! Very eery! Don't worry! Clint was driving! Not me!

I have been trying to post this for several weeks but was having some trouble for some reason!

Misty would have been 30 on May 15th. So my mom gathered up some friends from the neighborhood and we took 30 roses down to her grave the next morning. Since Misty was an avid runner and biker, we decided that that was how we would spend her 30th birthday. So some of us biked the 4.5 miles while others ran it while each carrying 2-3 roses. We miss you, Mist!
